The service

ShipStatic lets you host static websites on your own domain. You keep full ownership of your content. We don't claim any rights over what you host. By uploading content, you grant us a license to host, store, cache, and serve it as part of providing the service.

Anonymous deploys

You can deploy without signing in, whether through the hosted MCP at mcp.shipstatic.com, the CLI without an API key, or the web app without sign-in. Anonymous deploys expire 3 days after creation unless claimed via the deploy's claim link, which converts them into a permanent, account-owned deploy. Anonymous deploys are subject to per-file (20 MB), total (50 MB), and file-count (500) limits, plus global rate limits.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you host and for keeping your account secure. Don't use ShipStatic to host anything illegal or to harm others. Our Platform Rules spell out what that means. We may suspend or terminate accounts (and remove anonymous deploys) that violate this without notice.

Monitoring and enforcement

Everything published through ShipStatic is subject to review, by automated systems that run continuously and by people. We look for malware, phishing, and anything else that breaks these terms or the law.

Where we find it we act immediately and without prior notice: removing content, taking a deployment or a domain offline, suspending or terminating the account, and blocking the source of the uploads. Serious cases are reported to the relevant authorities.

Illegal content

If you believe content hosted on ShipStatic is illegal or infringes your copyright, report it to abuse@shipstatic.com. We will review valid notices and act in accordance with the EU Digital Services Act. If we restrict your content, we will inform you with a reason.

Plans

ShipStatic is free to use on a ShipStatic address. Pro adds your own domain, monthly or yearly, at the price and with the limits shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Scale is for publishing sites on behalf of other people; it is priced on usage and agreed with us directly.

Fair use

Free and Pro have no bandwidth caps, no traffic metering and no overage charges, and we would rather you never thought about numbers at all. That works because ShipStatic is built for websites, and ordinary websites fit comfortably within it.

It stops working when ShipStatic is used as something other than a place to put a website: as general file storage, as a delivery network for another service, or to serve very large media at volume.

If your usage puts unusual pressure on the platform, we will contact you and work out an arrangement that fits. We will not send you a surprise bill. If we cannot reach an arrangement, we may limit or suspend the account, with reasonable notice except where the usage is causing immediate harm to the service or to other people using it.

How Pro is sold

Pro is sold through Stripe, which is the merchant of record. Stripe is the seller for your purchase and appears as Link on your receipts and card statement. Stripe collects payment, calculates and remits any tax due, issues your invoice, and handles payment disputes. Your contract for the service itself, meaning everything these terms describe, is with Enhanced SRL.

Pro renews automatically until you cancel, on the monthly or yearly term you chose. You can cancel at any time from your account or from Link, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out how cancellations and refunds work; it applies as part of these terms.

How Scale is sold

Scale is offered to businesses only and is not sold through the checkout above. Enhanced SRL is the seller, usage is billed under a separate written agreement, and that agreement takes precedence over this section wherever the two differ.

Rights these terms give to consumers, including everything in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, apply to consumers, and so do not apply to a Scale agreement.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. If we end a paid subscription for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

You can close your account at any time.

No warranties

ShipStatic is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, reliability, or fitness for any purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continued use means acceptance.

Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
